Three Books That Left a Lasting Impact on My Mind and Soul

List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?

I want to share with you three books that have made a big impact on me. These books have touched my heart and changed the way I see the world. They are “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare, “Gaban” by Munshi Premchand, and the epic tale of “Mahabharata.” Let’s take a journey together as I tell you about these amazing books and how they have influenced me.

“The Tempest” by William Shakespeare: Have you ever read a book that made you imagine wonderful things? Well, “The Tempest” did just that for me! When I was young, I read this play by William Shakespeare, and it was not easy. I had to use a dictionary to understand some words, but it was worth it. The story is about a magical island and a sorcerer named Prospero. It taught me how to create pictures in my mind while reading. It sparked my love for reading and opened my imagination to new worlds

“Gaban” by Munshi Premchand: When I was in college, I discovered a book called “Gaban” by Munshi Premchand. It’s written in Hindi, and it tells the story of a man who wants to show off and make his wife happy. But he gets caught up in greed and ends up doing something wrong. This book taught me about the dangers of wanting too much and the importance of being honest. It made me think about what truly makes us happy and the consequences of our actions.

“Mahabharata” – An Epic for All Ages: Have you heard of the “Mahabharata”? It’s an ancient Indian epic that has many valuable lessons. Even though I haven’t read the original version, the translated one was enough to inspire me. This epic tale has so much wisdom! It tells the story of a great war and teaches us about right and wrong, duty, and the choices we make. It made me understand that our actions have consequences and that we should always strive to do what is right.

These three books have had a big impact on me. “The Tempest” showed me the power of imagination and storytelling. “Gaban” made me realize the dangers of greed and the importance of honesty. And “Mahabharata” taught me valuable lessons about life and the choices we make. Books have a way of touching our hearts and teaching us important things. So, don’t forget to pick up a good book and let it take you on a journey of discovery and growth!
