In today’s fast-paced world, what was once considered a luxury has become an essential part of everyday life. Take owning a car with air conditioning, for instance. In the past, it was a status symbol reserved for the elite. However, as time passed, it became a habit for me to indulge in the comfort of riding my own car with the AC always on.
There’s something undeniably satisfying about traveling with friends, even if it’s just a short distance of 10 to 20 kilometers, to relish a delectable plate of momos or a refreshing cup of tea. It’s become a routine that brings me great enjoyment.
Occasionally, I wonder if I’ve become dependent on this lifestyle, unable to imagine life without it. Nevertheless, I cherish these experiences as they have become an integral part of my present life. It’s not a sign of weakness or an inability to live without such conveniences; rather, it’s an appreciation of the simple pleasures that make life enjoyable.
Reflecting on the evolution of luxury and necessity, it’s fascinating to witness how these concepts have transformed over time. As society progresses, what was once considered a luxury becomes deeply ingrained in our routines. While I acknowledge the possibility of adapting to changing circumstances, for now, I take delight in the luxury-turned-habit of driving my car with the comforting coolness of the AC, creating memorable moments with friends.
